Prepare yourself for live beach entertainment, both day and night, featured on two stages: The Beach Stage and the Family Stage, which is brought to you by Wasaga Beach. The festival is also filled withclowns, street performers and special guest appearances.
The Beach Stage has an incredible musical line-up including Toronto native Suzie McNeil, the last women standing on CBS's reality series Rockstar: INXS and Bad Boy rock n roller troubadour Tomi Swick, who's latest hit "Stalled out in the Doorway" demonstrates his Juno award winning craft.

The partying begins Friday, August 24th at 6 p.m. on The Beach Stage with singer/guitarist, inaugural Canadian Idol Ryan Malcolm and his enterprising new work with pop-rock band Low Level Flight, followed by violin virtuoso, Dr. Draw, a unique world-renown performance not to be missed. Sensational musical events continue throughout the weekend with performers such as Juno nominee Jason Wilson and his internationally acclaimed progressive reggae act, Tabarruk; the high-energy performances of Erin McCallum & Roadtrip; the ‘edgy’ new sound of emerging Canadian rock band Eleven Minutes; future household names and Winner of Indie Week Toronto 2006 Clara Lorafo and singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Craig Smith a rocker with roots and lyrical substance.

Wasaga Beach Fest's Family Stage has an incredible musical line-up kicking off Saturday, August 25, 12 noon, with 17 year old pop, R&B, urban dance sensation, Sarah Melody, followed by The Quintessential Boys, a group to watch as they garner extraordinary attention every time they perform. Saturday's afternoon finale features Tranquil, a bright new band with a unique sound.
On Sunday, August 26, the Family Stage switches focus and takes a nostalgic trip back to the 1930's and 1940's with the 17-piece Toronto All-Star Big Band, joined by the voices of The Serenaders and The TABB Four. Sunday afternoon is a rock spectacular for kids with Montreal's The Shimmyshakers shaking their way into the children's music scene!

The festival is FREE FOR ALL! We are proud to announce that the famous firework artist David Whysall presents his International Fireworks Show on Saturday, August 25th at dusk. David has quite an event lined up. To see photos of past displays visit his website, www.dwfireworks.com. We are also very pleased to have the Etobicoke Youth Soccer Club involved in our Wasaga Beach Event, SoccerWorld Sand Blast Beach Soccer Tour, www.soccerworldsandblast.ca.

The event is produced by Lido Chilelli - and co-produced by Pat Carpignano - the same promoters that produce the Toronto's Beaches International Jazz Festival, now in its 19th year of operation and drawing crowds in excess of 900,000 people. Lido, recipient of the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal, is excited about this successful event, now in its second year and has personally selected bands that are sure to be real crowd pleasers.
